These terms apply when you browse retiredtocreate.com or buy a print from Retired to Create, the art studio of Jerry Smith in California. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Prints and orders
Each print is a photographic print of my original work, offered in black and white or color and in the sizes listed on each product page. Prints are made to order, so please allow time for printing before your order ships. Colors on screen can differ slightly from the finished print, because every monitor displays color a little differently.
Your order is confirmed when payment is approved and you receive a confirmation email. I reserve the right to cancel an order, with a full refund, if an item can’t be produced or a pricing error appears on the site.
Prices and payment
Prices are listed in US dollars. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; your full card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on this website.
Shipping
- I currently ship within the United States only.
- Shipping is a flat $9.95 per order.
- Each print is printed, checked and packed by hand in my studio.
- Delivery times are estimates and can vary with the carrier.
Returns, damage and refunds
Because each print is made to order, I can’t accept returns for a change of mind. If your print arrives damaged, defective or isn’t what you ordered, please reach me through the contact form within 30 days of delivery, with a photo of the problem, and I’ll send a replacement or a full refund.
Copyright
All photographs, paintings and text on this site are © Jerry Smith. Buying a print gives you the print itself for personal display; it doesn’t transfer copyright or permission to copy, reproduce or sell the image. Website images may carry a watermark; your print will not.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place your order applies to that order.
