Retired to Create

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Retired to Create collects when you visit retiredtocreate.com or place an order, and how it’s used. I collect only what’s needed to run the site and fulfill your orders, and I never sell your information.

What I collect

  • Orders: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give it, and what you ordered.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored on this website. I can see limited details, such as the card type and last four digits.
  • Messages: your name, email and message when you use the contact form.
  • Technical information: like most websites, the server records basic information such as your IP address and browser type for security and to keep the site running.

How it’s used

  • To process, produce, ship and support your order.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To send emails about your order, such as confirmations and shipping updates.
  • To keep the site secure and working properly.

Who it’s shared with

Only with the services that help run the shop, and only as much as each one needs:

  • Stripe, to process payments.
  • The shipping carrier (such as USPS or UPS), which receives your name and shipping address to deliver your print.
  • Hostinger, which hosts this website.
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site; your browser connects to Google to load them.

I may also share information if required by law.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies needed for the shop to work, such as remembering what’s in your cart and keeping you signed in at checkout. Stripe may set cookies at checkout to help prevent fraud. I don’t use advertising cookies.

How long it’s kept

Order records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to reply and follow up.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, subject to records I must keep by law. California residents have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what information is collected and to request its deletion. To make a request, please use the contact form.
